Why Did I take 12 Hours of Summer Courses?

Well I haven't posted in a while and that might be due to the fact that I have had my head buried in books for what seems like 24/7.  But Hey I found out that I will be walking next MAY!!! I am so happy.  I will then enroll at Washburn next Fall and Will have my Bachelors by Fall of 2008.  I can take all my classes for my Bach degree online.  This was the best news ever.  So even though I feel like I am drowning in school work now...It will all be worth it.

Well I have completed one of the three papers that I have due today! I have a paper due in Comp II which is complete and handed in.  I have to write a paper about my heritage for my Multicultural Aspects of Counseling class and I have to do a GENOGRAM for my Family Addictions class.  Oh yes..today I will be very busy.

For those of you who haven't heard I am going to get my associates degree through Allen County Community College and add 33 extra hours of curriculum in Addictions services and will get licensed and be an addictions counselor...and I am excited.  I think I have found what will make me happy. A job that will be face paced, exciting, more independent, and if will still be helping others.... and NO forced overtime!! I will likely take my job home with me...but in a very different way.

WISH ME LUCK.

ITS BEEN A LONG TIME!

My boys have had me running ragged with ball games! I have a game or games, or practice on all but two nights of the week.  I completed my last semester of school with two A's and two B's ...and yes I survived the first of my three Algebra classes wish me luck with the other two.

We went camping over memeorial weekend with some friends and had a blast i will have photos to share soon.  I am working on a slide show to share with all.

I have 12  hours of classes this summer and then 18 in the fall so i may not be as faithful about posting as I should be.  Missed all of you and plan to do better than waiting two months to update!

Hello All!

I have a New Car

2007 Dodge Caliber

Its been a while since I have updated and well, I am sorry.

My weight loss is giong great, I am down 27 pounds now... not much more to go til I hit that 30 pound mark. WOOOOOOOOo HOOOOOOOOOoo!

I am finishing up on school work and Spring semester is coming to an end.

I have had to help my Aunt the last couple of days as her fiance passed on unexpectedly.  He went in for minor surgery and died at the hands of a blood clot that killed him instantaneously. This is just proof of how we all take for granted that we can be here one moment and then gone the next.

I dedicate this BLOG in Loving Memory to:

Daniel Max " Danny" Becker.  A Great partner, son, father, and friend.

March 4, 1961- April 7, 2006

At the rising of the sun and at its going down,
We remember them.

At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of Winter, We remember them.

At the opening of buds and in the rebirth of Spring,
We remember them.

At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of Summer,
We remember them.

At the rustling of leaves and the beauty of Autumn,
We remember them.

At the beginning of the year and when it ends,
We remember them.

As long as we live, they too will live;
for they are now a part of us, as we remember them.

When we are weary and in need of strength,
We remember them.

When we are lost and sick at heart,
We remember them.

When we have joys we yearn to share,
We remember them.

When we have decisions that are difficult to make,
We remember them

When we have achievements that are based on theirs,
We remember them.

As long as we live, they too shall live,
for they are a part of us, as we remember them.

This is the poem from the inside of the memorial program,

as Danny Loved fishing...

Surely Jesus loves fishermen for He chose them for His own, To be with Him and learn from Him and someday share His home.  It must have been their trust in God and patience He found rare, That keeps them very near His heart and ever in His care.
